I always seem to get back on this album and I have no idea why, is it the evil sounding vocals or the amazing riffs. Just gonna say that this is a masterpiece <3

Thromos is Sargeist but more vibrant, swift, tortured and intense. A black and oppressive atmosphere emanates from this album and remains a beautiful offering to the devil. What more? An overpowered drummer and pachydermic riffs all along, without to mention a plaintive voice very impressive. In short, a pure killing. Dematerialisation remains my favorite track, really melancholic and tortured. A reference in Trve Black and a great german band.

A resounding fuck yes escapes me when I play this album. Dark, gritty, melodic. You got all the ingredients to a bloody black metal pie right here.

Post-metal, DSBM, and so on are nice and I have found a lot in those categories to like, but when all's said and done I still like my Black Metal like I like my women: unironic, evil, and kinda gross. This album delivers.
