Ben Harris Just when I start to think 2023 surely can't unleash any more astounding metal albums (see Fleckentarn's "Deuil Septembre", Leidensweg's "Wolkenbruch", Suebian Knot's "Warfare Anachronism", Zorn's self-titled, etc.) Dépressive only goes and proves me wrong. Indeed, this might just end up being one of my favourite albums of the year. Favorite track: Clairvoyance.

Deliverance I really like this album as I find it to be quite different from any other black metal release I’ve indulged myself in. The first song is pure black metal melancholy mixed with gothic style singing vocals done right which sound so, so good and really put the icing on the cake, and as the album goes on it gets more experimental and impressive. A must listen for anyone looking for something different. Something new. Something to heal your depression. Something to give you a half smile. Favorite track: Lifeless.

Le temps des métaphores est révolu : l'humidité froide, c'est celle des larmes qui coulent sur le visage à cause de la dépression. Tout pleure dans cet album : les guitares typées DSBM grésillent, les solos ("The Damp Chill of Life", "It's Painless To Let Go") sont liquides et coulent, les voix prennent à la gorge ; même le piano, étranglé par les sanglots ("Cease"), est aphone. Pour pousser ce concept jusqu'au bout, NONE fait en sorte que ce quatrième album soit à double tranchants.
